Val Velasquez

Area VP
Val is a native Austinite with over 30 years management experience in the customer service industry. Val is a Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist (CITRMS) with the Institute of Fraud and Risk Management. Helping and giving back to community is one of his biggest contributions. He continuously works in the community to support efforts emphasizing education, community services and Hispanic cultural awareness. Val currently serves as President of the Round Rock El Amistad Club, a 40 year old organization that is a premier non–profit civic club in Round Rock, TX with a milestone of over half million in scholarships awarded YTD. He was recently appointed Trustee for the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber Education Foundation in 2008 and is a core member of the Williamson County Neighborhood Conference Committee (NCC) program that provides a community-based intervention for 1st time truancy law offenders and is an alternative to the traditional juvenile justice system.
